Position: FUND ACQUISITION OFFICER
Brief Company Overview:
Exodon is a clinical research organization that provides a suite of services from studies to sales. Our mission is to improve patient care through better research of healthcare products and facilitate patient access to these products through our professional marketing and sales programs. Our offices and clinical research units are located in India, the Philippines and the US.
This position is home-based requiring 20 hours/week schedule. Schedule is US Time.
1. To provide assistance in acquiring grants and funding from private corporations (i.e. pharmaceutical, biotechnology, etc.), foundations, and other funding agencies for several investigator-initiated projects (i.e. product development and clinical trials).
2. Identify funding sources to support investigator-initiated projects in product development and clinical trials for new investigational drugs and products. Develop database for monitoring.
3. Review calls for proposal and recommend if it fits company program and whether company should pursue funding opportunities.
4. Closely work with the Medical Director and Director for Business Development in writing and developing funding proposals and collating additional requirements needed prior to submission.
5. Attend meeting and presentations of proposals to prospective funding groups.
Requirements for Application:
BS/MS/MA in Business Development Courses, Development Studies, Business Administration, Technical and Life Science Courses
Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Product Development and Clinical Research Industry
Demonstrated at least 3 years experience in proposal writing and fund acquisition from funding agencies, foundations, and government/private institutions
Competent in use of Microsoft Program

Primary responsibilities include:
Experience needed in: Windows 2003 server, MS SQL, Active Directory, ASP.NET, PHP, data transfer scripting and configuration, End User support with VPN/Remote Connectivity solutions, and Web Hosting technologies.
Help desk support for our staff in the Philippines, India and US
Project, Server, Software and Database management
Provide network security, maintenance and assistance to end-users with popular software packages, such as Microsoft Office particularly MS Outlook, Medical Software program, Online Fax.
Help users to troubleshoot connectivity issues with VPN access to the Server, server, File server, MS Exchange connection, GoToMyPC (Citrix) , etc.
Provide assistance to staff members, brokers and external contractors in maintaining their e-mail accounts and access, skype account and PBX extensions. Work with doctors and staff at US clinics to provide searches, queries, and reports.
Work with reporting techniques and communication methods to automate the exchange and transfer of information critical to company objectives.
Maintain online Accounts like, Domain Control Panels, Email accounts, PBX System account, Citrix program account, Online fax account, WEB server accounts etc.
Maintain Windows 2003 server, backup maintenance.

Patient Services Center Representative
Medical Administration Division

Overview of Position
We are seeking to fill an opening for a full-time home based Patient Services Center Representative in our Medical Administration division to manage incoming and outgoing calls, medical records and scheduling for a USA based specialty clinic.
1. Scheduling patient appointments - for clinical and clinical trial patients in the USA. This function requires coordination among patients, their family member, and clinical and clinical research staff.
2. Patient concierge services include registering educating patients and their family members about services offered at our US client's Institute, reminder calls and general patient support.
3. Medical record responsibilities include processing, requesting, faxing, mailing, printing and archiving all medical records.
4. Some healthcare pre-authorization and verification may also be required as well as data entry into medical and clinical research practice management software programs.
5. Some medical triage responsibilities may be required such as screening patients for eligibility to participate in clinical trials and facilitating compliance.
6. Other responsibilities include general receptionist functions to greet, educate and direct callers for two other USA based clients.
Bachelor's degree required with at least 4 years of experience in medical administration; especially in scheduling. A background in clinical trials is preferred. Must be fluent in American English and have excellent written, verbal communication and pleasant interpersonal skills also are a must. A proven ability successfully interact with team members and clients. Excellent time and task management skills needed. Home office option is available and candidate must be able to work mostly during US business hours.

Account Receivables Representative

We are seeking to fill an opening for a full-time home based Patient Services Center Account Receivables Representative in our Finance division to manage patient accounts at a outpatient healthcare facility in the US.
Pre-authorization verification validating a patient’s payment source prior to transferring patient to scheduling.
Healthcare claims submission and reconciliation.
Collections and A/R report submission.
Completing applications for clinical staff to become in-network providers.
Back-up medical administrative duties such as per diem phone, scheduling and patient registration coverage.
Bachelor's degree required with at least 5 years of experience in medical account receivables. Experience in Medisoft Practice Management Software and Claims Clearing house preferred. Brief Company Overview
Exodon is a clinical research organization composed of three major departments: 1) Site Recruitment and Management; and 2) Product Research & Development for Phase I and II drug and biologic clinical trials, nutraceuticals, medical foods and OTC healthcare products; and 3) Outsourced Medical Sales. Our offices and clinical research units are located in India, the Philippines and the US. This position is available either out of our India or Filipino office.
Principal Investigator: As Director of the CRU you will be directly responsible for conducting 3rd party sponsored, Exodon CRO and Exodon sponsored clinical trials as a Principal Investigator (PI). As a PI and Director of the CRU you will be responsible for all aspects and supervising research staff for each clinical research study conducted on the CRU.
Protocol Design and Development: Conduct and summarize literature reviews of pre-clinical and clinical research data to support decision making processes on selection of products to be tested and developed by R & D department. Assist in the development and writing of clinical research protocols and published manuscripts for Exodon's product R&D projects.
Regulatory Affairs: Lead proprietary development teams in the development and execution of clinical strategies for regulatory submissions at all phases of development (e.g, NDAs, sNDAs, INDs, MAAs, and BLAs). Products include a variety of healthcare products including novel delivery systems. Proactively identify potential clinical issues and develop approaches to address them. Work closely with Regulatory Affairs to manage document development, approval and review processes to ensure quality and timely completion of clinical documents across the products. Retain overall document compliance with industry standards and project timelines.
Additionally you or sub-investigator(s) will be responsible for developing and maintaining a part-time clinical practice on the CRU and/or related facilities to facilitate subject recruitment for various clinical research projects on the CRU. Other duties include helping the Company increase the number of clinical research projects on the CRU and throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Communicate effectively with multifunctional project teams, clients, key opinion leaders and industry professionals on a regular basis.
Contribute in SOPs revisions and writing and document template development.
Note: Depending on the candidate's past experience and future objectives, a higher level position may be a better fit such as Director of Global Medical Research Affairs which incorporates the duties described above plus additional responsibilities such as:
overseeing activities of other Medical Directors and various clinical research departments and operations such as
Medical Writing, Regulatory, and Product R&D.
Candidate must be M.D or M.D., Ph.D. with at least 5 years of experience conducting clinical research within the pharmaceutical industry. S/he must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge about GCP/ICH and US CFR clinical research guidelines as they apply to drug development research. The candidate must be proficiency with Windows XP, MS Office suite and electronic document editing, formatting and proofreading.
Effective interpersonal skills and proven ability successfully interact with team members and clients. Excellent time and task management skills needed. Medical writing experience in multiple therapeutic areas preferred.

Clinical Project Director
This is high-level upper management position requires great leadership skills. As a Clinical Project Director you will be responsible for preparing RFPs, managing a team of central and regional clinical research professionals, establishing SOPs, and contracting with outsourcing vendors. Other responsibilities include:
• Administering, managing and supervising all on-going clinical research projects,
• Preparing budgets for research protocols, performing regulatory affairs including quality assurance audits
• Acting as one of the lead liaison among Exodon, their clients and researchers
• Training and supervising in-house and contracted CRAs and CRCs
The position is primarily based at Exodon's central office in beautiful northern New Jersey. The qualified individual will be certified as a Clinical Research Associated (CRA) with at least 6 years of prior CRA experience and at least 2 years of clinical trials supervisory experience at the clinical project management level. You must possess at least a Bachelors degree in the biological sciences, preferably a Masters or Doctorate.
Assistant Clinical Project Manager (CPM)
This is an exciting full-time position that requires the qualified candidate to be responsible for all aspects of capturing, monitoring and reporting clinical research data. We are seeking an individual who is both very detailed and able to utilize contextual information to increase efficiency. Seventy (70%) percent of your time will be spent working from Exodon's central office in New Jersey and 30% at the various research sites. You will be responsible for managing the data input from approximately 20 clinical research sites by supervising regional CRAs. You will report to the Clinical Project Director and assist with ongoing clinical research projects. Requirements include BS/BA and at least 2 years of clinical research experience monitoring trials as a CCRA.
Exodon is seeking to fill nationwide openings for Regional CRAs to establish, monitor and closeout clinical trial research studies that are being managed by Exodon. You will work from your home-based office as an independent contractor and report to Exodon’s Clinical Project Director. Requirements include BS/BA and at least 2 years of clinical research experience monitoring trials as a CCRA.
Clinical Research Services Consultant (Full Time)
Exodon is a international CRO based in northwestern New Jersey offering clinical research services to both investigators and the clinical research industry. Clinical Research Services Consultant is the title Exodon uses for a clinical research sales representative as this position requires both sales experience and clinical research experience. We have traditionally utilized a regional contracted sales force to enroll doctors into our network of clinical research sites and are now developing an internal sales force. The qualified candidate will report to the VP of Business Development and play a critical role in enrolling sites and placing clinical trials at these sites.
1. Increase the number of sties in our clinical research network by enhancing and implementing sales strategies to educate doctors about how our VALIDATE System® application and our per diem support services will drive clinical trials to their practice. Minimal travel is necessary as this is an inside sales position.
2. Implement sales strategies promoting and selling our unique and novel patient recruitment services to other CROs and clinical research sponsors.
3. Coordinate marketing campaigns with our public relations firm and internal IT department.
4. Offer per diem clinical research support services to our affiliated sites from our corporate office, particularly in the area of patient enrollment.
Qualifications Candidates must be energetic and entrepreneurial minded with exceptional interpersonal skills and seek to play a vital role in growing a clinical research organization. Innovative skills are critical, but the candidate must be both process and detail oriented and be able to fluidly communicate their thoughts and strategies to others.
Candidates must have strong sales and clinical research background with basic IT skills, a good working knowledge of pocket PCs and be proficient in MS Office, particularly Access. College education in science needed such as a BS, preferably with additional CRC, CRA or MBA.
Candidates must have at least 3 years pharmaceutical or clinical research experience in one or more of the following areas: patient/subject recruitment, electronic data capture, sales, sales management or business development. Prior sales experience combined with CRC or CRA background will receive preferential consideration.
