Media based Patient Recruitment

At Exodon, we supplement our database patient recruitment programs with media based approaches on an as needed basis. At the beginning of the project we run a query in our VALIDATE SystemŽ and VALtrackTM patient recruitment database against the location of your sites. If there are geographical regions where we anticipate recruitment problems from stand-alone database approaches, we supplement database approaches with targeted media campaigns in those regions using a combination of the following advertisement approaches:

Television
Despite the technologically advanced times we live in, TV is still the most effective way to broadcast your message to largest possible targeted audiences in shortest amount of time.

Radio
Radio compliments TV advertisement by reaching targeted audiences when you know that are not likely watching traveling to and from work. Combining radio with TV within specific geographical regions allows for a more comprehensive media based patient recruitment campaign.

Public Relations
Further complementing our media-based approaches - we work with the principle investigator (PI) and their clinical research team at each of your sites getting your trials public exposure in print and broadcast media. The PR literature and our experience have shown that the public responds better to education oriented articles than to print advertisements. We get your trial into print in newspapers and healthcare related magazines that we write with the endorsement of your PIs. This is a proven and effective way to boost patient recruitment, particularly when combined with other media and database oriented solutions.
